Whispertone Wallboard

Whispertone Wallboard is manufactured from fine, rotaryprocess glass fibers bonded with a special thermosetting resin to produce a structurally rigid board-type insulation. The top surface is smooth and uniform in color and can be produced either plain or with a Dura-Glass® mat facing. Whispertone Wallboard can be used for office partitions, ceiling panels, wall panel applications, and HVAC equipment. The borosilicate glass fibers that make up Whispertone Wallboard are incombustible and non-hygroscopic. Whispertone Wallboard does not support fungi or vermin. It is also unaffected by oil, grease, and most acids. Because of its resiliency and flexibility, Whispertone Wallboard resists settling, breakdown, sagging from vibration, and damage from impact. The countless air spaces in Whispertone Wallboard create effective sound absorption as well as thermal properties. Perceived noise from air movement and mechanical equipment is noticeably reduced.
